The Positive 'Championship's Alreet' Thread

Join me brothers, in a celebration of Championship football.

Let us make a list of wonderous positives about our wonderful new league. I'll start.

- We will have the highest average attendance
- Biggest stadium
- Every game will be 'winnable'
- We will have several short away trips
- We get to play some great clubs, Leeds, Forest etc
- We can't lose the derby, adding a 3rd year unbeaten
- Connor Whickhams glacial turning will be levelled out by below par CB's

Proud to be one of you. If there was a flag waving smilie this is where it would be.

 

No glory hunting plastic opposition fans in the Championship.

Plenty of midweek games.

Cheaper tickets (hopefully...)

Chance to rebuild the squad from scratch into one playing good, attractive football like Southampton or Swansea.

Chance to remove the deadwood and hangers-on from the squad.

Being able to look near the top of the league table to see where we are for a change (again, hopefully...)

 

Sorry to be a negative on a positive board but with the players we have unless there's major investment we could do a Portsmouth.

 

I love the Championship. lol

 

Sorry to be on a downer on this but I don't see any positives to being in the Championship lads, it will set us back 5 years as a club and I'm running out of time FFS.
