    "It was a fantastic win for us and we've now gone an extra distance away from Sunderland after that win.

    "If Andy Carroll stays fit from now to the end of the season hopefully he can go to the World Cup, he's scoring goals and winning games for us. He's not match fit at the moment, he isn't as sharp as he could be so hopefully we'll see more from him in the next few weeks.

    "We've had a run of form in the last eight games where we've picked up 15 points from 8 games, results like that over the course of a season mean a top six finish."

    April really could be a month of serious Glow, the next four fixtures for the mackems are Spurs away, Everton at home, Man City away and Chelsea away.

    I've a sore head this morning. During the night I dreamt I was Andy Carroll and stuck one on the headboard. What a glorious leaping salmon goal that was from him last night. Oh what joy, what Glow!

    I just knew Kevin Nolan would be involved with his chicken wings during the game last night. Be careful next Monday when the mackems play Tottenham, you might attack your good lady during the night with Spuds.

    As Sir Les is on the coaching staff at Spurs I'm hoping he tells the strikers to score at least 8-9 goals... hell.. with that Mackem defence he could come on and bag a hat trick.
