Who says ex players always play well against their old teams?
How many of our ex's have seriously stung us recently?
As for Donkey, his stats don't fill me with dread about what might happen if we "give him chances".

I'm sure Rodgers and the guys will be watching the game tonight. Does it help us that we played Sunderland last week and we can see how they get at them?

Yes I just noticed Coward Webb is reffing West Ham surely he can't do 2 of a team's games in a row so we dodge him for another week?

    Lessons learned so far:

    • don't give Carroll a free header
    • don't have a **** ref turn down our penalty

Hopefully with West Ham now safe and at home Sam won't dare park the bus as much or every supporter in the ground will be behind us

We're on a little run of our own now. 6 wins from 9.

I think we can stop you. 2-1 to us.

Going to be an interesting game.

They're going to be up for this given they're pretty much safe.

    ;)

By the way I think I might be letting my heart rule my head a touch but you never know.

We are now safe so I'd like to think we will go for it.

Apart from this fixture, I wish you luck in the title race.

  16. I said earlier in this thread that you have a few ex-Liverpool players that will have a point to prove. I hope you guys try to play as that suits us but suspect Allardyce will park the bus.

Although it's obviously tougher, we've had more success unlocking tighter defences this season than in previous ones so I'm less apprehensive about playing that type of set-up than I used to be.
I think we've only failed to score in two PL games this season.

  18. I think we will be able to break them down. I have doubts because I don't see us going on a fourteen game winning streak (I know eight are over and done with so no longer matter) so we will inevitably drop points sooner rather than later IMO, plus Allardyce always seemed to be a bit of a bogey opponent for us too and with the ex-players it becomes a bit of a omen.

Head says win, gut says draw and heart says we'll destroy whoever gets in our way :)

As you know, I'm like an Australian weatherman. I just predict it'll be sunny until it isn't.

  20. At present, we can afford one draw against anyone but Man City :)
