So you lot ban a paper and it's a 'genuine reason' and when we do it it's trivial? My whole point being, you were playing Liverpool away - you weren't gonna get anything out of the game anyway. Now if it had been the West Ham game, I might have understood but come on, you can't seriously expect you were going to pick up anything at Anfield?
And yet, tactically, we played better against them than anyone in the last ten gamesand ended up very unlucky not to get something... Who'd have thought eh? On another note - we have a player on loan from Liverpool don;t we?? Not starting any rumours but he isn;t ours - as much as I love him playing for us!!
They calling us Derland now, the joke being SAFC banned the 'sun' tee hee! i nearly collapsed with laughter, not.
If you`re thinking of Borini Marcus I can`t see it being him. If he`d wanted to do that he`d have sent the info direct to the club rather than a newspaper?
But it's a **** point. How unethical are you? It doesn't matter who the opponent was or the probable outcome. Sort your ethics out mate, you're coming across a right ****er.
Could be through Conner (without intention) He was playing for Leeds not long ago, imagine his delight when he found out he was starting against Liverpool at Anfield? Maybe he just had to tell a friend or some family members, they tell someone else, they contact the paper. Just a thought.
This is from previous post you obviously missed - `The point is that someone, from Sunderland, tried to give Liverpool an advantage. That action, from anyone at any club, trying to help the opposition, whichever team you support, is totally unnacceptable It`s not about the team. It`s not about the fixture. It`s not about the result. It`s the fact that it was done. Now do you understand?
I know what you`re saying Bri but I can`t see it like that. His return was common knowledge and a simple `I`m playing` text would have done the same job? Think I`ll give up on this anyway, pointless now and we`ll probably never find out.
You're most likely right, just hope it was some kind of one off accident and not somebody profiting from selling information.
That`s the worry and why I don`t think it`s a player. The huge loss in earnings if caught set against a backhander from a paper (a couple of grand, tops?) doesn`t make sense to me. More likely someone much further down the ladder.
And you lot have no recognition that your **** bunch of players are at it again! They've already got 1 manager sacked this season and now they are ****ting on the current one! My ethics are completely intact - It's your 'so-called' team member who has ethical issues. Now stop trying to blame everyone else and look at the ****e you have been served up all season to see where the problems lie. John O'Shea, Wes Brown have been absolutely gash for most of the season yet you still think the sun shines out of their arses! I can understand you wanting to vent your anger at me but really? Get a grip will you!!!
