I saw that, Big BIG News I don't recall anyone being too bothered when Roy Keane was in the crowd as a paying punter at CP.
Ah but you don't understand Dev. He's a CELTIC player. He shouldn't be doing things like this. Now, if he was to be betting on matches he's involved in, I can understand it taking up a smaller section of the paper, but to be singing songs about a rival team!? He needs the book thrown at him.
Actually no - not but as I will now be singing that frigging song in my head for the rest of the day ... in an Elmer Fudd voice.
Someone sent me a text this morning saying they have The Only Way Is Up by Yazz stuck in their head and so now do you
Oh FFS http://news.stv.tv/east-central/270...ued-with-notice-of-complaint-for-hearts-song/ Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths has been issued with a notice of complaint from the Scottish FA, following a recording of him singing a song about Hearts. The Scotland international was captured on camera singing about Hearts going bust, as he mingled with Hibernian supporters before the Edinburgh derby. Griffiths spent two separate spells on loan at Hibernian from Wolves, and is a boyhood supporter of the Easter Road club. The notice of complaint regards the breach of SFA Rule 86, which suggests that players "under the jurisdiction of the Scottish FA shall, at all times, act in the best interests of Association Football". A statement on the SFA website was specific about the incident, alleging that the former Dundee striker was "not acting in the best interests of Association Football by singing in public about Heart of Midlothian FC in administration." A principal hearing date of Thursday, April 24 has been set, where the striker will be able to answer the charge. If Griffiths is found to have breached the rule then he would face a ban, as a fine is not an available punishment for such a charge. A statement on the Celtic website said that the matter had been dealt with internally, with Griffiths being fined and an apology being issued to Hearts. Celtic have accepted the player's apology, and will defend their player against the SFA charge.
