You only have to look at Vlad Chiriches to see why signing for Spurs is a bad idea. He's happy here, he's playing his best football here, there's no need for Curtis to leave.

Every player has his price But i suspect that Spurs will go back for Caulker when Cardiff go down. After all Caulker is in Woy's England set up. <whistle>

Possibly. But Spurs need to sell a few before they can spend again. Plus the whole landscape will change with Spurs once Sherwood gets his P45 with Van Gaal or Hiddinck arriving in the summer.

Also, Hangaland from Fulham would be another option for Spurs and cheaper.<ok>

    Yes he is actually. <doh>

True and having Steve Bruce as his manager is also key imo. As long as we keep Steve Bruce then i dont see much changing especially if we have european football as well.

True, He has been mentioned for Spurs but it looks Nailed on now for Louis Van Gaal to be the next Spurs manager.

Tim Sherwood is a Dead Man Walking.

Rumours of a set too in the Spurs dressing room after the game. Sherwood - Soldado and Lennon.

It has been denied of course. <whistle>

Anyone seen the bit in the HDM where Sherwood said he wants to keep Livermore?

If we do stay up (nothing taken for granted) and we wish to improve the squad for next season I wouldn't be too disappointed if Livermore
    goes back to Spurs.

He's had a reasonable season but nothing more and to push onto the next level we'll need players of better quality.

    Awaits incoming........

I think you could be right. He's been good, but he hasn't really kept it going. I'd still like to keep him, though.

I think the reason he and Thudd have slowed down recently is probably due to the fact neither have played a proper season for a long time.

I think their influence on our season has worked against them. Teams know just how important they are to us and try to take them out the game by various means. Most of our play goes through Thudd and if they can negate his effect on the game, we usually struggle. His biggest weakness is his mobility, which is I think why he works so well with Livermore, because Livs can do all the running for him. However, if he is also marked out the game, we have no midfield. We seem to rely a lot on our wingers to bring the ball forward and we see cross after cross coming with no finish; perhaps the lack of a playmaker is the reason why we rely so much on the flanks.

I'd like to see Tom pushed further forward, with Meyler sat deeper and Livermore buzzing about between them, then maybe swapping Meyler and Thudd intermittently to confuse the opposition.

HDM took it from the daily mirror. Shame that Buckingham cannot do some proper research on the issue.

Agreed so would Steve Bruce. High on the list of summer in's.

He does. He is a wum-mer.

Correct. It was always going to be the case. Once we are safe then i can see both of them beinbg rested for the FA Cup Final. No player can keep it going for all 38 games. They have been great for us without a doubt.

I certainly think that players today are thinking twice about joining the bigger clubs just to be a squad player and sit more of the time on the bench, like Livermore & Huddlestone. Davies will think twice about it, but as it has been said it just depends if the Allams are just looking to cash in or not.

A tad too young to go now IMO but he'll be one for the future no doubt.

Strange that we've got little to no decent centre halves but in 5/6 years it's likely to be our best position.

Stones, Moore, Lascelles, Caulker... all have massive potential.
