As to the possibility of relegation, I think you guys are a more realistiv bet than us, don't you?
Don't need to spend anything to stay up, our squad is good enough to how it is. And on Pompey's £5m, it will be enough for you to buy 6 decent players, which could see you challenging the playoffs.
Hi Minging, haven't seen you in a while....In answer to your question, our squad is already worth £30 million plus, with a production line of young talent ready to step up in the future, so really £5 Million is only a drop in the ocean... only 1 of Chambo's precious legs....
The real question is are our new owners more commited to ensuring promotion back to where we clearly belong, rather than your reluctant owner, by default?

SB3............ Trouble is From where you are starting I E only 8 first team players 5 million is not all that much Just to survive you are going to need at least 15 /16 players of 1st team quality. You are going to be hard pushed just to be able to stay in the championship let alone push for promotion with a budget like that. Granted that's what all said last year and you did reasonably well, although I somehow think you may struggle a little this year especially until the team gels a bit then you may do a bit better.
