Your looking for an issue with something that isn't there, what he said is correct and in no way implies that everyone has Liverpool as their second team. He's spot on, there's a generation of football fans that have seen just 5 teams win the title in 20+ years (18 of those shared between just 3 teams).
They never were. If they wanted to 'support' or attach themselves to another Yorkshire team so badly 'because Hull City were ****' how come none of them hung onto the coat tails of York or Bradford City ?
I see nothing arrogant about what Rushie said, TBH. He's right, some people (including some Liverpool fans) haven't seen Liverpool win a title. That seems an innocuous and pretty accurate statement to me. I think you're perhaps over analysing it and seeing something that isn't there. That being said, I'd just like to add that I hope Hull FC stay up this season. You had a good win against us (LFC), played well and I hope you are still in the premiership come next season.
Surely, if Rush had said "Liverpool fans" then it would be insinuating all other football fans had seen us win a league? This would be factually incorrect
You're a bit dense, aren't you? C'mon ref was merely saying that football exists outside of Hull City. Football is football and a good game is a good game. Yes or no? .
