Each to their own, i think he is ****, you guys think he is great, neither of us will change our minds, i deffo wont!! To me he stumbled across a winning team and then first chance he had to change it he did, DOH!!!!
Oh and if the likes of SEB aint fit then they should not be in the squad, period!!!

Can you guys just answer this, why the f did we set up with two def cm's against a team that were there for the taking. Surely we should have gone out to batter them, like we did 2nd half once we knew we had to chase the game, sorry but to me that is bad management and a big chance missed. We should have beat forest who were very low on confidence, Mick got it wrong today and i cant believe none of you see it, thats not being negative towards mick, that is just plain fact!!

I also think that Mick probably would not have made use of Woody had it not been for the injury to Skuse. I also agree that if both were fit that Woody should not have lost his place in the team. Mick always says that players should grab their chance when it comes along but then doesn't reward them with a run in the team when they do.
It wouldn't exactly make you bust a gut to impress would it, knowing that as soon as the player you are replacing is fine you will be replaced?

Because Messi and Ronaldo were unavailable.

The point I was making before was that none of us knows why the team was picked because none of us knows what's going on behind training room doors.

Hindsight is such a wonderful thing.!

Dropping Woody for Skuse did kinda backfire, I thought Skuse had a poor game today, whereas Woody had played pretty well last two games. In defence of MM & Skuse he has played pretty well all season so if fit you should understand why MM would put him back in once available.!

Hawky made some good points earlier, it is good to see MM going for it last few games, we are safe from the drop etc so it is **** or bust for the play offs, MM is rolling the dice, maybe not with his starting 11 but certainly during the game. 7 points from 9 is probably as good as anyone could have expected....And I have been thoughroughly entertained to boot.

The difference between 7 & 9 points these last few games was the Florist keeper, he had an excellent 2nd half.!

On a side note good to meet Gaffer today in Rileys, Warky that is the 2nd time this season you have stood me up...:emoticon-0106-cryin

Yeah missed you Warky, but enjoyed meeting Hoppers!

Wordy..woody want playing for whatever, we don't know. Fair result after sleepy performance....all supine for 1st soft gift in 5 mins ffs! Lucky not to be 3 down with sloppy back passes and nice touches to oppo just outside our area!
2nd half totally different. Energised, upped the pace, more direct and could have bagged 5 or 6. Jonny again impressed and wound them up something rotten...they really hated him and he won all manner of freebies all over the park!

Who would have thought much derided Frank would have danced down the left and opened their defence up so easily?

All in all, entertaining game, loved the PR support and chanting....gets to the players, fair result and still all to play for.

Players from both teams applauded, and did anyone else notice Chambo going over to applaud the Forest fans? They did their team proud today.

Skuse may have been playing well all season but if Woody is playing better or offers something different then why should Skuse just walk straight back in the team?
I'm all for being loyal etc but if somebody comes in and does well I don't think they should be dropped, that's the whole point in taking your chance when it comes.
From what I have heard Hyam has been doing a fine job of breaking up the play and, a few stray passes aside, has been better playing his more usual defensive role than the attacking role he's being asked to do when Skuse is in the team.

Yep, thought Hyam played well; he was all-over the park breaking up play and tearing back on several occasions to stop promising attacks. Good hard aggressive defensive qualities and surprised by his speed and fitness. More attacking role for him? Nope.

Spanish I don't normally bite as although I don't often agree with your views I try to respect them......but it is getting a bit tiresome your constant nit picking at MM....we all know he is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but he is by far the best manager for us at this time, try to cut him a bit of slack.!
For those of us who watched the game yesterday it was clear MM got his tactics wrong 1st half, fair play to him he made a change before & at H/T. 2nd half it was pretty much one way traffic with the only reason we did not take all 3 points their keeper played a blinder 2nd half making 3 quality saves (and a blunder at the end from Murph).

As said previously Hindsight is a wonderful thing.!

    Hoppers
FFS so am i supposed to sit here and praise mm for ****ing things up? I praised him the last few games but he got it wrong yesterday, FACT!! It has nowt to do with hindsight, its all about sticking with a winning formula, its not rocket science is it? If you dont like my opinion, then may i suggest you just ignore it, as to be ****ing honest it was not there for you to BITE at as you put it, it was not a ****ing wind up, it was my point of view!! Just as well i dont think you lot back MM just to wind me up or i would be biting at every post!!

Do you think MM probably cost us 2 points yesterday or not, do you agree with his tactics/team/formation? If not then you cant really have a go at me for pointing out that he cost us can you Its not as if i am calling for his head is it? Just pointing out his blunder, just like you all point out his wonderful tactics etc when we win, i dont call you tiresome, not even Warky ffs!!

No I don't' think MM cost us 2 points yesterday, it was a surprise to see Woody out of the team but as I have said Skuse has played when fit this season so I understand why he went straight back in the team, although I would have thought Woody on the bench would have been the least he deserved after his performance V Derby.
It was not one thing that stopped us getting 3 points yesterday, you would argue it was MM, others including myself would point to a good 2nd half display by the keeper or a poor choice of 4 options by Murph towards the end, a pass to either Nouble or Green would have seen either with pretty much an open goal.!
What has to be remembered is that we have a very average team who so far this season have probably overachieved in comparison to most Championship squads on paper....now who would you put that down too.?

Why would you expect MM to pick Woody over Skuse when one has featured all season & performed for the most part pretty well or the other who has been out of favour and has had pretty much 1 decent game.?

Spanish, I love your style, wit, bluntness, colourful comments and grit...and of course the fact that you live the Rioja life! It also means sadly you dont get to actually witness all the ins & outs and form...formations etc that happen week in week out on the practice pitch, the actual pitch and other dressing room, back room decision-making that all managers have to make a judgement on. How I wish we were occasional flies buzzing on the dressing room wall - or, in Rotter the Potter's case, down Jon Walters pants!!

I too don't get to enjoy as many games as I would like, and after Saturdays drive, punishing few weeks, I ended up last night in hospital with hernia and frigging ulcer!! Such is my total commitment to the Blues! At least I made to
    the doc laugh.

1st half our normally rock solid defence (thanks to MM) gifted countless bleedin balls to their forwards who if they had been more ruthless would have bagged a hatful. Skuse was not that poor, Hunt deservedly came off and it was our dear Frank who made a big difference. But, yes, you are right in wondering what did Wordy not do right to be given another chance - we can only guess.
