I wondered whether that was a deliberate or genuine slip of the tongue. Guess we'll never know.

Lawrenson on Suarez's goal 'You can't score from there!' Sorry Mark, got news for you he just did, you just watched it. Effing idiot.

I'm no fan of Lawro but I know what he meant. Suarez had no right to get it in from there, really.

Lawrenson: 'On a slightly lighter note do you think de Jagger's nickname is Mick?' How much is he on, only thought offered on Fulham v Everton. He's less than a joke and doesn't even have any good ones.

  4. Any other player and I'd agree but we've seen Suarez score from more impossible positions than that!

Exactly. The fact that he scores seemingly impossible goals just shows how good he is.

Lawro's joke about Dejagah was awe-inspiringly bad, as was that thing he was wearing.

I've been beginning to think that our Mickey's drone on BT Sports was marginally less coma-inducing of late, but he could hardly get his sentences out on MOTD.
Good job the footie was good.

  6. I've not watched MOTD yet so I'll make sure to skip it <laugh>

No, you have to watch it.
    Why should you be spared?

  8. Reason I record it every week. I never listen to the pundits. Usually skip the boring games too.

is odd bluff as the beer should be about the taste, but i guess its an odd way of saying best served very cold, how i drink my beer any way so **** knows.

my step dad drinks room temp cans and that is ****ing disgusting, has to be as cold as possible for me.

they did an experiment in london few years ago of a pint being served on a spining disc type thing and it half filled with ice and beer each, think the idea was by the time you drunk it all the ice would have melted, did it ever catch on?

mind you wouldn't be a good drink if you was doing beer games ie downing the ****er in one go lol

Got to stick that **** in the freezer before it gets anywhere near being drunk. Leave it for a bit and take it out whilst it's still liquid, just before it starts to get slushy.

I'm with him. (Well, cellar temperature maybe)
Beer is brewed so you can taste the ingredients-cold beer is a modern fashion and is as pointless as most fashions. Why go to the trouble of making something with a subtle range of flavours then completely obliterating them with cold?
    Simply don't understand it, tbh.
Perhaps it's refreshing, if you live in Nevada or northern Queensland, but why walk out of a nasty, damp, cold January day in Britain and then have a bloody cold beer?

i have to have my drink cold even in the winter, just weird like that lol, i did have a bad experience with a warm Guinness once, and since then everything has to be ice cold, maybe that's it.

I suspect they're talking about pissy lagers as opposed to proper beer

I suppose it depends on what you like drinking, the ales I like are defo better chilled but if you like cask ales then surely they just come as served from the cellar and should not be chilled.

That's because cold beer's destroyed your taste buds. :)

We've had most arguments on here several times.
It's like the Groundhog Day of rants for me.

Don't even get me started on all the negative stuff I've read so far despite the 4-0 Spudbashing and being top of the league.
