Liverpool and City are showing what top class strikers can bring to their clubs.
Why we haven't replaced RVP with a class act is still a mystery.

We've still got Sanogo remember, another "potentially great" forward. How many of them do you want to sit on the bench because they won't be cheap wage-wise? If he's good enough then, sure, go for him. I just don't want us to do it at the expense of getting that established top player in.

Moot point anyway as he's said no deal has been made.

Well this guy has some good stats, 15 goals in 26 appearances in the Bundesliga ain't too shabby.

Also if we get a new top striker in and giroud stays I'd expect us to send either this guy oar Sanogo out on loan in the prem. if giroud goes and we bring in a new top striker then the two youth guys can play backup.

Urgh, I'd rather we didn't resort to that. Every other "top club" has at least 2 decent strikers...well, bar Chelsea! I've nothing against getting him but I'd like a top striker, a very solid back up and then one or two very promising youth players like this lad, Sanogo etc.

Yeh my preference is that giroud stays as backup while we sign a top striker to start. Quite happy to sign young talented players in addition though.

I think Giroud and Bendtner to go. Campbell to come in and hopefully a top quality striker.
