Great win, just watched it on MotD 2 and, even from edited highlights, it looked like you could have scored quite a few more!

It's yours to lose now, and really hope you stay top and win it. Always had Liverpool as my second team from the days in the 80's when Swansea was the Liverpool FC retirement home (Jan Molby, Emlyn Hughes et al) ;)

Met Brendan a few times during his stint at Swansea (raised £2,200 for his Marie Curie Cancer appeal) and found him to be a genuine and extremely likeable person; did the cheque presentation thing for the press and, even though he was busy with the build up to an important PL match at the Liberty, didn't try to get rid as soon as - even treated us to a re-enactment of his pitch side celebration of Darren Pratley's goal in the championship play off semi final!

Also friends with Joey Allen (through my bro who is a close friend of his bride to be Lacey Jo)

Feel privileged that those two have gone on to greater things after gracing my club with their presence and will always follow their careers with interest. Joe was an important part of our promotion winning team, and Brendan was the guy that took us to the top flight. Had no feelings of bitterness when they left - no way they could turn down the opportunity of being a part of a Premier League giant, and have been chuffed with their success at Liverpool (Brendan has been a revelation and Joe, although not reaching the heights he is capable of yet, will prove to be a valuable member of your squad - he is still young and has the potential to become a future LFC legend).

So crack on and win the league, would be great to have Liverpool back where they belong - just hope my beloved Swansea will be there to play you home and away next season! <cheers>

Cheers bud. I'm 100% sure you guys will stay up this year, far too much quality to go down and now you have Michu back as well. Bony is a hell of a player and think just need to make sure you hold onto him next year and without Europa football, no reason you can't be aiming for top 10 again. Not sure if you have Chelsea or City left to play this year but if you do, any chance of a favour? <cheers>

Cheers Biscan and bow4 - hope you're right!

Biscan - have Chelski at home, will be hoping we can do you a favour like Crystal Palace did on Saturday - biggest laugh of the weekend was watching rat boy Terry turn the ball into his own net - priceless ;)!

    Team of the week.

Despite Rooney playing as a CF with Mata, Kagawa & Young behind him, he get's a spot in CM. Caulker get's in despite his team conceding 3 goals purely for the one he scored, despite in his own words "Cardiff's defending was bordering on the calamitous".

Johnson get' a spot despite Flanagan actually having a better game by making a couple of last ditch tackles.

And no Palace players other than the keeper, despite them creating quite a few chances against Chelsea and keeping a clean sheet. Joel Ward in particular was very good.

Congratulations on a great result yesterday, and also for the way your team plays football. As a "neutral" it would be great to see Liverpool win the title again this year instead of the usual suspects.

I agree. had seterling's two open goal chances been converted he'd have been in. Suarez did his best but he did head is in an area LLoris' quality could show and as for f'n henderson.

Frankly.. f sake lads see what i mean, get him deeper and away form shooting. how many times has he blazed over this season <laugh> he could have had 15 he's played that well then fluffed his lines.
