Perhaps we might want to stop poncing about and get the ****ing things on general sale, it's ridiculous that we're leaving it until just over a week before the game before non pass holders get the chance to buy one. It feels like forever since the the quarter final win, occasional attendees enthusiasm will naturally start to wane especially with train/hotel prices still increasing by the day...

Closest they’ll get to Yorkshire’s number one I suppose.

    Plucky little 4th Division sods.

Sincerely hope they enjoy their big day out.

Sadly I fear too many plastics will try to get our tickets once they go on general sale.

They're not even the oldest club in Sheffield.

How long has it been a tradition to play 'Tom Hark' after you score a goal? <laugh>

A lot of those ''up near the back'' will be young lads and noisy support who can't afford season tickets, I bought £50 tickets and really hope we're with some who know a few songs and are happy to join in.

I wasn't categorising those at the back. I was designating the plastics.

    You sure?

"The bloke in Block 7, Row A, Seat 63 just said he thinks the blonde steward in jacket 546 has got a cracking pair of tits" (send)

Then watch the blonde steward and see how long it takes for the message to be relayed to him that he's a fat **** and see how he reacts to the bloke in that seat.

It generally just means cameras are fine, but if you start going in with a professional camera with telephoto lens and setting it up on a tripod you'd better buy a press accreditation for the day.

We've only let 18,000 people apply for them so far haven't we? How many actually qualify for 2 tickets AND would apply for 2?

I've not applied for either of mine*, and I know plenty of others that qualify for 2 that have only applied for 1 because everyone they know that they think deserves one already has one, I think one group of 11 or 12 that's going has 9 season ticket holders in it, so there's only 2 taken up their extra option. I was asked at one point if since I wasn't going I could apply for 2 tickets for somebody because neither of them was a passholder, and because I wasn't using my ticket anyway they'd be able to sit together without finding someone else to apply with. Some people would have done, but I sort of expected there to be plenty left given the numbers and just told them they'd be able to get them on General Sale. tbh it was a friend who I've not met of a family member (the family member isn't a City fan so they couldn't apply, it was coincidence it came up), so I'm not particularly keen on them going to a game on a ticket under my name when I've no idea what they're like at games. (I'm bad enough, can do without someone else arsing up my chances of a Final ticket by being too pissed on the day and landing themselves in ****)

*I'm not going to the semi-final because I can't afford two trips to Wembley on top of I think it'll have been 15 five hundred mile round trips for league games out of a student budget. It's a 3 day thing for me to go to Wembley because of the length of journey and the fact I'd have to go on train (Sunday timetable from mine to Edinburgh in particular is ****ing **** so I'd never make it in time), and I'd rather miss out on going to Wembley if we lose than go and miss out on the Final if we get there. It's less about Final over semi-Final importance, and more because of the potential for the name change (in favour or not, I don't think it's unfair to say that last game under one name and first name under another would be the kind of significant games you'd want to be at).

If we end up having 9000 for general sale then they go to fans who have been to two games or more then there will be another wait before they go on sale to anyone, im sure we are going to have plenty left because a number of pass holders have the attitude that because we have a great chance then they will wait for the final and if we don't win the semi then they don't want to be there any how Strange? To me despite them been Division 1 it won't be easy if we both play to our best we should win how ever they will chase and not give us the room to play like you get in the premier league

I just got offered two free tickets in Club Wembley, with two free three course meals.

Only problem is, there's six of us and I'm not allowed to give them to anyone else to use, so I had to turn them down.

    Bit of a shame.

    Bit of a shame.

FINALLY got my booking confirmation email 10 minutes ago.

Too bad I won't be able to pick up my tickets until Saturday at the earliest.
