what we should be doing NOW

So thanks to fat mike and his love child we might as well end this season tonight.

IMO opinion I would do the following if I was at the helm of the club till the end of the season.

1) chuck shola in the reserves until he leaves in the summer.

2) start playing the kids as I would rather watch them learning their trade in a safe environment with our league safety in the bag.

3) start the negotiations now with the view to have the players in the bag by
May with a few etc players through out the summer - Micah Richards plan a pre signed contract this week.

4) sack pardew - which would allow a new manager a bit of a honeymoon period and finish the period of on a high.

5) with the likes of debuchy and colo and other players who could potentially be off in the summer give them an ultimate and if they don't pledge their future then whack them in the reserves
And plan to sell them quick.
This would give us a better picture
Of what we needed to do in the transfer window ahead of the summer.

Obviously its not that easy but a lot could be done rather then what we are doing now

I agree we should be blooding the youngsters. They really couldn't do any worse than the pile of bone-idle lazy ****heads currently wearing the black & white stripes.

Let's start losing because of a lack of ability, rather than a lack of effort.
We have all seen the current players perform very well, but only when it suits them.

I would happily see some local lads given the chance to kick lumps out of Suarez!

 

I think the first thing Ashley should do is give Pardew a 6 year extension on his current contract and make Shola club captain.

 

Local lads that are good enough to play for us would be proud to wear the shirt and put in a good shift for us. That's why I'm pleased we've got so many good youngsters coming through the ranks.

 

I think Ashley should give Shola the six year contract as manager and get rid of Pards, it's blatantly obvious it just isn't going to work with him.

 

Spot on. I am now very worried about what will happen over the summer unless we start looking forward now. We need a vision to sell to incoming signings. Right now the only vision we have is of a fat tw*t sat in his boxers munching on greggs doing eff all and a manager who following headbutting an opposition player seems to have inflated his brain and resulting ego past any kind of acceptable level of sanity.

I predict the majority of the transfer window will be spent trying to appoint a managing director or director of football, whilst being fed something along the lines of 'we couldn't possibly sign a player until this has been resolved'. The new appointment will then be unveiled with just enough time to buy the absolute minimum it has been decided we need in order to survive next season.

 

The way things are going at the moment, I'd be quite happy with survival.

 

But if it's MA who has decided what is needed to survive then we probably wont.

 

When he works out the incoming cash against the outgoing cash, he'll give it some serious thought.

In the meanwhile some mega rich oil tycoon might come along and see us as a bargain and invest heavily to get us the success we, and himself crave.
