Please explain? Are you saying it's taken four seasons for us to become a 'team' - I would suggest that very good owners, and a quality manager within the last 18 months has made this possible.
Ian Wright is even tweeting about it! Retweeted by Ian Wright Jo Tongue ‏@tonguetweets · 5m â@Richard_Meehan: We can't sack Tim Sherwood. He's the only one who knows where Erik Lamela is buried.â Brilliant #punchgate
it could be worse guys, Arsenal only got 2 against us. Imagine if they had got 9 or 11 like 'pool or City. Silver liningsâ¦..
Anyone else remember the halcyon days of June before the Bale rumours started and the general consensus was that we would be challenging for a top 3 spot......... You couldn't make this up - except this is Spurs!!
Given that he's claimed that part of the reason that he's been sitting in the stands is so that he doesn't get into rows, then it wouldn't be that surprising. He seems to have struggled to contain his temper on quite a few occasions on the sidelines, so **** knows what he's like behind closed doors.
Yeah I bet he's awful. He's far too emotional. Read a tweet from a Spurs fan which quoted him saying he stayed in the stands for the last half hour because he felt he couldn't influence the game - or something along those lines. Pretty pathetic really - and actually a little childish.
You can't be permanently in the top four and title contenders under our current ownership. The best we can hope for is what Redknapp done in terms of league finish and CL qualification. Under Enic depending on who's manager we will occasionally punch above our weight and the credit goes to the manager. Remember earlier on you spoke about Kaboul, Redknapp resigned Kaboul, Defoe and Crouch. He the signed key players which helped us finished top four. Also in his final season he signed Adebayor and Parker and he set the team up and convinced Modric to remain part of the team and play the best football of his Spurs career. So you shouldn't overlook the positive aspects of his management as to get the type of success such as league titles, it won't happen while Enic are here, regardless of who's manager.
I hope these are just rumours but no matter how tragic this gets, remember we have been in far worse situations and recovered so in many ways what Spurm said earlier was right as the more **** that hits the fan, the greater chance we have of having a good season next year.
If we had got two extra points in Harry's last season then we'd have likely kept Modric. That would have led to a couple more points last season and we could have kept Bale. We'd then have been able to afford to sign some other stars too - would Ozil have gone to Arsenal if they'd not been in the CL? All I'm saying is that with a really top class manager we would have done that. I'm really not trying to wind you up - Harry did well but not quite well enough.
