I wish Dasani were nearly idle.

To get rid of the player of the season, the young player of the season, the popular chief executive and a decent manager in the space of just ten days, whilst claiming that you were trying to keep hold of them and actually getting a sizeable minority of supporters to defend your actions, takes real skill.

We are all waiting on developments.

First who will MM take with him?
There are no concrete leads on names, the bookies produce a list with some totally impossible names (Shearer etc.), but worryingly for me there are some really scarey ones - Laws and Dickov have questionable backgrounds.

I am nervous on who Watford will appoint, I only trust GT but I know Baz can over rule him in one moment of madness and then we could end up with a "Mick Harford", and I cannot tell you how vociferous the reaction would be.

This is a crucial moment in our history and its not a good time for a mistake. My choice is Waddock - I know he's not cheap, but I believe he is the best option.

In an ideal world we'd be looking at the likes of Carlo Ancelotti - unfortunately the world is very far from ideal.

I really worry about the diea of getting an unproven manager such as Dyche (tho obviously he would have a reasonable honeymoon period) or someone taking a massive step up. Everything seems so unstable at the moment that i don't think we should be experimenting. It's unpopular but i'd be looking at David Jones. Been there seen it done it and has the experience that I think we really need at this moment.

I'd also caution against paying too much heed to the bookies odds. They suspended betting on harry rednapp going to chelsea the other week for crying out loud - at one point he was 8/13!

From what I have heard Harry's next move will be to one of Her Majesty's establishments rather than Chelsea.

If we could get Jones that would restore a lot of lost faith for me, Dyche would be the easy option but Sanchez, Laws and some of the other proven failures being mentioned would create even more concerns about Bankrupts Bas's aptitude.
