Over £640m in 5 years, that's what we're up against. They have recovered around £150m but it's still a net spend of approaching half a billion....
Not really, their form has been very strong up until they drew with us yesterday. And City, unlike Liverpool, can put in **** performances and still get the job done, for Liverpool it's a case of having to play top 10/10 football every week to ensure they win, odds are still in favour.
I'd be happy for Liverpool to win it. Properly run club with history, like us. If neither us nor Liverpool do it, then man city. Anyone but Chelsea or man u. It is nice to see man u and spurs fighting it out for 7th though.
In that run they had a very good 2-0 win at Hull while down to 10 men, and then annihilated both Fulham and United, plus they didn't look that bad against Barca.
If City had Aguero fit for most of their games, they would have pretty much wrapped up the title by now, IMO. He is the most talented player in this league. If they get can get him back and manage to keep him fit, they should still win the league. He scored 15 leagues goals from 17 league games this season, and had he stayed fit, he would be on 30 plus. He makes City a top team that can match Barca or Bayern.
Stokes net spend is larger than ours over the last 5 or so years. That's a fact. Stop being so bitter
Some brilliant rumours doing the rounds on twitter right now. Apparently, Sherwood punched a Spurs player in their dressing room.
Just heard about that Retweeted by Ian Wright Jo Tongue ‏@tonguetweets · 5m “@Richard_Meehan: We can't sack Tim Sherwood. He's the only one who knows where Erik Lamela is buried.” Brilliant #punchgate

It shows how successful you can be with class strikers as Liverpool and City have. One day we may experience this, we can but dream.
