Pardew: ''We need to work on our process'

You could say he shouldn't have had the job in the first place.

 

We cannot compete with Southampton in terms of ambition. They expect us to swallow that? We are the third best supported club in the country ffs. No-one expects us to be challenging for the Champions League or title but some f*cking effort and pride in the shirt for the sake of the fans. Is that too much to ask for? Course not, Ashley just wants his money.

I had to laugh when Pardew offered the midweek game as an excuse on his MOTD post-match interview. It might have gone down better had we not been treated to the same sort of pathetic display then as well.

 

This is why the local press aren't allowed to talk anymore, because questions like "didn't you say that before, at least 5 times this season" would come up.

 

Is Pardew deliberately trying to get the sack?

 

Maybe he's trying to convince MA that we need major investment.

 

There'll be more in it for him if he gets the sack.

 

Even MA must realise that investment is needed.
Never mind the results and the way the team are playing, I just think Pardew is becoming detached from reality with his actions which is showing in his incoherent interviews and the gibberish he is talking.

Maybe he's had enough, and is pushing MA into a corner.

Fat Sam gets the sack in the summer and Pardew is available to go back to London.
Everyone is happy.
