I don't wish to preempt things but anyone got any ideas about the banner that will surely flutter over the Alexandra bridge?

How about the old Clingon saying "revenge is a dish best served cold."

What a day at the bottom (I'll conveniently forget our flops) with Palace securing a deserved win over Chelski, West Brom drawing with Cardiff and Swansea beating Norwich.

All this means the mackems will still be in the Brown Stuff regardless of their result against West Ham.

The gap at the bottom is widening. I'm still glowing tonight. How is your glow?

Glow has dimmed after our pathetic excuse for football players capitulated like a bunch of cheese-eating surrender monkeys. Then Cardiff decided to score after the game had already finished. However I then looked at the table and the glow came back.

Good news fellow Glowers......if Fulham beat Everton today the mackems will be bottom of the league

And that's enough to move my Glow up another notch.

I'm just looking ahead past today's and tomorrow's fixtures and its more bad news for the mackems I'm afraid <glow on the rise again>

Next Saturday there are more six-pointers at the bottom with crucial games between Villa v Fulham, Cardiff v Palace, Hull v Swansea and Norwich v West Brom.

Now, if we were struggling at the bottom (yeah I know, as opposed to in the middle) I would not want these relegation rivals to be playing each other as there are at least two points which will be won out of the three on offer in each game. Hopefully, there will be no draws in these four games (with three points being won in each game) with the combined effect of pushing more teams up the league and hopefully widening that gap between the mackems even further.

Meanwhile, the mackems play the Spuds on the Monday night - heaping even more pressure on them as they will know what they've got to do.

My glow has increased even more after that.

Let's just hope this keeps going until the last game of the season, for they are the world champions at blowing it on the last game.

    For maximum pleasure, you understand.

The mackems are breathing a huge sigh of relief on their board that they aren't bottom thanks to Everton beating Fulham 3-1 this afternoon.

What an accomplishment it must be for sunderland not to be bottom with almost three quarters of the season gone <applause>

p.s. Everton (who are pushing for a CL spot) are due to play at the SoL on April 12th. It doesn't get much easier for the mackems, does it? <laugh>
