No thanks, it's just 1 good season, let's see if he can pull this off year in year out, Liverpool have had it very comfortable this year with no European commitments.
I hope Liverpool win the league this year. I don't think we will and it would be really good to see a team win it who haven't bought their way to the top. City and Chelsea winning it would just be another hollow half victory, engineered by money rather than skill.
**** has already 'given up'. You can bet he'll be still be raging on the inside though if Liverpool win it.
Ah wouldn't it be nice if Arsenal could just not bottle it while challenging for the title, and push on to great form during these important months just as Liverpool have? The fans on this board who talked about Liverpool not being good enough really have been humbled, Liverpool 7 clear of us, looking strong as ever, while it's us, who have slumped and are now mainly looking to hold down 4th spot, very disappointing overall.
Can anyone honestly see Liverpool not winning it from this point? City just don't convince me even with their great squad
Yeah, can still see them failing, they have 2 big games at home against Chelsea-City, and can see them dropping points there.
Liverpools strength is there superior attack. It terrorises the opposition . This alone stops them from pushing their full backs forward. Their defence aint great but it doesnt need to be . They rarely have to face a serious threat . If they win it fair play to them . 1 they will have earned it . 2 It will seriously mug off Maureen and the Chavs. 3 It will seriously mug off the Scum . 4 It will seriously annoy the Spurs fans. whats not to like . I know Kyle is not keen on their fans but , i have only ever seen about 4 of them giving it the big one . The rest are ok . IMHO of course.
Went through this one before, they have bought their way to success, just not on as obvious a level as City and Chelsea.
And on a side note ....all Own goals are NOT equal . That one from Kaboul was just ..........christ on a bike , funny.
ok they have spent some money , so have we , Ozil wasnt cheap . But they dont have a squad of a hundred players like the champagne charlies . Look at City , they have about 5 top quality strikers to chose from ...one get injured , no big deal , just roll out the next one. Its just bollox.
City just done seem hungry enough to me . Liverpool are fecking ravenous to win the title....if all of their team broke a leg they would carry on playing if neccessary , Nasri would want to be subbed if he broke a toe nail.
The difference between us and them (well, one difference) is that our net spend is minimal, Livertool's is large.
