Verts needs a bloody good talking to as his attitude right from the tunnel today has been frankly unacceptable. His body language has said it all.
Levy has lost a lot of respect with the fans because of the unrealistic expectations he places on managers compared to the budget he hands them, so when fans see managers sacked frequently then we become used the hire/sack mentality which creates a club based around no continuity. Although thats two mistakes you have admitted to, first hiring AVB and now hiring Sherwood. Are you backing Van Gaal to be a success?

Siggy and Lennon need to get involved somehow. Eriksen needs to be in the middle where he can do damage to them. Actually I think I'd take Lennon off, play Chadli on the right and put Townsend on the left to help Rose.

I wonder just how bad Vertonghens injury is. Would not be surprised if that was more about his wanting out.... Bad attitude in the tunnel and the same on the pitch. We play arguably the most inform offensive team in the PL without a decent FB and no established DM and a few other lightweights. Sorry, but that is suicide in anyone's language. If Sherwood can have a positive impact for the 2nd half it will be a f**king miracle.

Missed the last game (Southampton) which makes the shock of seeing our uncomitted performance even greater. It looks as if they concentrate on pretty passing moves without any realisation that you have to close down the opposition as well.
Think a lot of this is down to attitude. Your players seem tentative in attack and lazy in defence... No pressing or tempo. Look at how hard Coutinho and Henderson are working. Amazing that you spent all that money and still end up having to okay Naughton and Rose today... So average, even if Naughton is a backup for the equally average Walker.
