If the people do know the private negotiations of Neil Danns & Hull City it's come from Danns agent and is no doubt exaggearated in a vain attempt to get more money from ourselves. Or it could be just be a figure plucked from the air. Didn't realise Danns was a free agent, so would be worth going for.
Rumour also that Rangers are interested in him. He might fancy the easy life up there and Champions League football.

If you were Danns whoulf your rather live on the south coast where it is warm, sunny (apart from test match times) and a lovely area to live OR Glasgow - what a ****e hole (lived there for 3 years in case you ask) and a pressure cooker of sectarian hatred However we don't want anyone coming in on inflated wages that may upset a good number of our much trusted existing players who aren't paid as well - last thing we need is dressing room unrest - again! Whilst I would have to disagree with your impressions of Glasgow (I've had a place there for years and am now back), Rangers are skint. They've just been bought on the cheap due to mountainous debts (for the SPL anyway) and won't be shelling out £15k per week on anyone!
It's probably comparable with our higher earners. Whether you think Danns would warrant that is another question. Assuming this to be not made up that is.
Would have thought £1/2 million a year would be tops for Championship surely. Although with add on and bonuses would expect him to earn around £3/4 million with promotion. Am I not right in thinking that in L1 our wage bill was around 8 million for players, is that right?
