Well, I've watched the MOTD highlights. Now where is that Football Orgin link I saw earlier in the thread, so that I can watch 90+ minutes of delightful football.
I think Newcastle actually beat us for possession in the second half. They just didn't do anything with it. We were getting it forward quickly and not hanging around, as they were looking incapable of handling balls over the top.
Interesting. Nice to see that Pochettino can tweak the tactics. We've always looked most threatening when we attack with pace.
Fantastic rseult today. So proud of the team. It just goes to show the importance of some kind of continuity as 6 of the players involved (Lallana, Lambert, Schneidlein, Kelvin Davis, Fonte and Guly) have been the backbone of our rise from League One. Add to that the prudent purchase of Jack Cork and Joos in our Championship season and what a fantasitc cocktail we have to continue our improvement.
I find it slightly odd all those people who say.. I didn't watch the game, when there is a perfectly good link to watch the entire match within this very thread. Just find it, it was posted after the match, so it's only in the last few pages. And enjoy the game. EDIT: Just finished watching the whole match. That was real entertainment.
Well the rib eye steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and now it's a sausage sandwich and off to tackle the allotment! This is new territory as my little boy is now 20 monthes and walking and kind of talking. Will he be happy with his plastic spade and wheel barrow? Watched the highlights (if you could call them that) and saw some of adams dazzle. Not sure what stream I was watching, but I thought he had a quiet 1st half!! Think I might watch the game again later. What page is it on?
Can't stop watching Lallana's goal. Shooting from range was the one thing I thought he was crap at. Now I don't know what to think.
Lallana is now becoming the player he always promised to be...remember for three of his developing years he was in the lower leagues with us. He is now getting PL experience and has been called up for England....his feet must be flying. Isn't it nice to open your eyes the day after a match and realise we won beautifully....better than that 30 seconds of innocence before the truth crashes down on you.
Enjoy it while you can! My son is 13 next month, my daughter 12 the following month. Dad does the gardening on his own now They used to love planting and growing stuff
