Watched on a stream. Rosey had a completely free header at the back post under absolutely no pressure from about the 6 yard line, keeper was rooted at the front post and it just needed putting on target and it was in. The Donkavic rebound one was tricky so forgivable like I said, but at £7m you do expect a player to put chances like that away. His other miss was just pathetic, again within 6 yards, whole goal to aim at so long as it was on target and not directly at the keeper he'd never have reacted in time to make a save, and he completely missed the ball with a diabolical air kick. That was the chance of the match. Whether you cost £7m or 7p that one was completely unforgivable, awful stuff. It's so frustrating just how good Donkavic is at finding these lethal pockets of space in the box but just how terrible his footballing ability is, like I said on another thread he's missed at least one sitter every single game since he arrived, it's just not good enough. He's like the polar opposite of proschwitz.
Was there some sort of incident in our end PLT? http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/228693/away-end-kerfuffle
Have you read the thread on time wasting? They based their whole ****ing game around it for about 5 seasons, absent minded dicks.
I saw some stewards wading purposefully into the noisiest section of our fans and it attracted some attention. They seemed to want to eject someone but I've no idea why, there didn't seem to be any problem until they went in there. The lads around there had a go at the stewards but it appeared to sort itself out without any fuss in the end. Are they accusing us of time-wasting? Why the **** would we have wanted to do that? I remember a couple of throw-ins where we took ages to take it but it was blatantly obvious we weren't doing that deliberately to waste time. Why would we? It was just that everyone was marked. Both times we rushed it eventually and lost possession.
Just read the thread on it. I'm pretty sure that one guy making out it was mindless, bloody violence is completely wrong. The other accounts on there seem to line up better with how I saw it.
Yes, Harps the main culprit. There were an additional 12000 at the game today who weren't there when we played them in 2008 when they were at their time wasting peak. Maybe they're unaware of their past.
Erm... why not? They are a point behind Chelsea with a game in hand, and if they were to avoid defeat against Man City at Anfield in a few weeks they've got a great chance. (BTW I don't think they will win it, but to question why loads think they can is silly)
Love him to bits but I think he's a bit cringeworthy sometimes. Saying that, i'm looking forward to what he has to say next week when we're promoted
