I would've not been bothered if we had gone out of the FA Cup at that stage to Stoke. Also, it's our second.
Maybe it is, I'm not questioning that. He said that we were 'there for the taking' simply because they snuck a result. But like most neutrals he won't know **** all about our team, how we play or anything. 'There for the taking' was just him being a ****
PLT .. what did you think watching it live ? ... personally I thought the right team won as they dominated in the right areas ,,, so ... your opinion ? (from being there of course)
'Kin Nora PLT it 's a bit of banter. The fella comes across as alright and you've flown off the handle at a slight tug of your shirt. A seasoned veteran like yourself should be above it. Dark room. Damp towel on head. Whale music or failing that Enya or Enigma( the **** one with the monks chanting a load of old bollocks). Do the above for an hour and it might bring you down a level. I'm fearing we might have a Brady MK2 on our hands.
I thought a draw would've been the right result on balance. Neither side had a clear cut chance all game, and the defences were well on top but Rosenior and Jelavic probably had the best chances. But if you make a mistake like we did at this level then you deserve to concede and since we never looked like scoring we deserved to lose in that sense. Why do you ask? If you read his posts from pre and post game, it's obvious he was just trying to be a ****. He also posted at least three separate threads on the board taking the piss, all of which have since been deleted or merged into the main one. It most definitely isn't banter. Plus if he's from Stoke he's hardly going to be friendly is he?
Sigh. He didn't, but it was obviously his thought process. What the **** was that John Terry? That was like Chester's OG at West Ham, it's not even clear what he thought he was going to do.
Palace fans are just mental. O'Keefe makes a mistake late on, they got away with it, but christ the abuse they gave him instead of taunting Torres for his miss or even celebrating the relief of it. FFS they were about to beat Chelsea and they're all shouting and flapping about at their own player.
I'm sorry PLT but Roseys free header and Donkavic's complete 'miss the ball' kick were both as clear cut as they come, from within 6 yards and only needed directing on target to go in. The open goal rebound off Meylers long deflected drive that Donkavic missed was also pretty bad, although forgivable considering it flew at him at a bad waist height. Still when you're paying £7m for a striker you expect him to be able to do these things.
Were you there or did you watch on a stream? We were behind the goal so it was hard to really see things properly, particularly at the far end. Rosey could have been on the goal line or on the edge of the box as far as I could tell. Jelavic's from the re-bound looked tricky and the other one was annoying but did seem to come across quite quickly. I didn't think it was as bad as you seem to but I'll have a better idea when I see it again.
