Only see Palace and Baggies getting 6 or 7 more, Norwich will struggle. Anything less then 12 and we will drop.
Especially if the ball is slung into the danger area; we have reached the stage of cross field diagonal passing for a chase with hopefully something at the end of it. We have two fast lads in Giacch and Borini so use it to turn defences.
I think 10 points will do it. It's possible but we MUST win on Monday, and it's exactly the kinda game we don't ****ing win.
get some dope man. might as well make it worth it. edit : you might need it anarl It`s starting to get to me now.
Agree but it certainly wouldn't be over. We'd still have 3 bottom half teams at home. Secondly WBA Norwich or palace could easily have a bad finish. Thirdly we might go and do something stupid like win at Spurs or Chelsea. Wouldn't be the first time! We always produce at least one barmy away win a season!
Firstly apparently West Ham have had the most 0-0 draws this season... Secondly it would be typical for us to draw/lose to the hammers and then go beat the spuds/manure/chelski... Well known fact our players only get revved up when playing teams in the top 8
Sunderland have only earned one point from a possible 15 in their last five matches. The Black Cats have the worst home record in the Premier League this season (12 points). They have only scored 13 goals in their home games - a Premier League low. Black Cats fans have witnessed more home goals in the cup competition's (17) than the league. Their record against bottom-half opposition is the worst in the league (W1, D5, L8). Sunderland have yet to win a league game in which they have been level at half-time this season. West Ham West Ham's midweek win over Hull ended a run of three Premier League defeats - the first time they had endured such a sequence under Sam Allardyce. The Hammers have won only four of their last 29 Premier League away games (D7, L18). West Ham are second in the Premier League clean sheets table this season with 13.
All this talk of being unable to beat the likes of West Ham has no place at Sunderland tonight. We all need to believe that we'll win and why not? The same bunch of players have beaten Man City, thrashed Fulham, won through to a cup final and done the double over Newcastle. I'll be going into the ground expecting 3 points. We're playing a team that lost away to the likes of Norwich, Palace & Fulham ......... we have home advantage and a good chance of winning. Haway the Lads!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don;t know why but I like night matches during the week. The atmosphere always seems better overall! I think if we score early tonight we'll win comfortably and the atmosphere will be great - but if we don;t score in the first 20 then it'll get nervy! I'm already nervy as ****!! But I do love night games!!
If we want to win gus has to be bold. he can't bottle it like he did at home to villa Norwich and palace. If its still 0-0 on the hour he has to get an extra attacker on and not hook Johnson off (even if he's tired) a moment of genius is all it takes. Everyone knows this is truly win or bust
