Let me be the first to congratulate sings and Grifter...being happy for you takes away a fraction of the disappointment I now feel. I hate the playoffs...have ever since we lost in Cardiff in 2003.

 

I'm the same mate. Today was our big chance to have a chance of an auto. Arry blew it with that team. I don't fancy us in the Play-offs, not under Arry anyway and I'm far from sure we'll make them at all with him as Manager.

We've had 3 solid performances in a row, chill. Austin should be back for our final 6 games.

 

He certainly should get us there and no doubt fancies a last day out in the spotlight. But every game is a struggle, Borough and Wigan included, performances are far from solid. Injuries and Arry's team selections and formations don't make any game look like a 3 pointer, as today's should have been.

 

Prior to today, most people seemed to believe the borough + wigan performances were fairly solid, given the injury situation?
And today these were the stats-

We essentially dominated them with our C team, but they scored from their one corner & one shot on target.

 

We needed a misplaced bottle top to beat Boro. Wigan outplayed us at times and a draw would have been a decent result from that game. Why did Arry play the over defensive formation he used today and no wide man? No Yun, no start for Hoillet. It was Blackpool at home FFS . Burnley had lost and had a key man injured. So Arry reacts with a Wembley wanting set up not an Auto wanting. Cowardly or inept are possibly to kind a judgement for today.
