Take off Podolski. He has been, well, ****. We need some speed and also take Giroud off too. Our midfield has been decent considering what they've been up against and the dross up front they've had to work with.
According to the stats we did create a chance and city only made a few. We scored a goal that was offside surely that's a chance too?
Giroud won't be going off, no point hoping for otherwise. If he makes a change it will be Chamberlain coming on for Podolski
How is scoring an offside goal a chance? My God you do scrap the bottom of the barrel don't you? We've only had 1 shot according to the stats, and that wasn't on target, it wasn't even a clear chance, it was Girouds volley attempt from the half way line, if you think that's a 'chance', then good for you, keep scrapping the bottom of the barrel if it makes you happy.
Not as bad as I was expecting tbh. Thought it was a foul on podolski leading to there goal and otherwise they haven't made clear chances, just half chances. They've been clearly better than us but it's only the one goal in it at the moment. Let's hope kompany and yay get second yellows lol

The ball ended up in the back of the net. For me that's a chance at a goal. A chance that was messed up by the early run and a good call by the linesman lol
it ended in the net because their defenders stopped running because they knew it was off side. NO ONE can class that as a chance missed.
I can see why oxo didn't start given how often he has been giving the ball away recently but I think he has to make an appearance in the second half. Only rosicky is offering us any kind of running or pace.

Gordon Bennett enough of this off side chance being a chance. We have the second half to look into. We need a flying start so why not stick Gnarby on. Go for a risk up front as nothing is happening at the moment there.

The longer it goes on at 1-0, one decent attack by Arsenal and my money's on Kompany. As for City, they've played in 2nd gear, especially since the goal. I think Navas (who I rate) has had a terrible game by his standards.
