Podolski + Cazorla as wingers happened. Everyone was berating me before the season started for saying that a real left winger is among the priorities.
Good to see us give more effort in this game but we really lack pace. Also podolski needs to do something!!!
I'd put Gnabry on at HT as a striker instead of Giroud, just because he's quick. He has played as a CF for the youth team, so it won't be a totally alien position for him.
Agreed I'd put Gnarby on, we really need to up the pace. rosicky trying to do too much cause no one to pass to.
How many times do we have to watch this system . Le Duff up front on his own , what a total waste of ****en time .
Bit unlucky to be a goal down at HT in my opinion. We've played some decent football, albeit with no penetration. If we can play a bit higher up the pitch and press like we have been then I think we'll create chances in the second half. Problem is keeping City out.
Bit unlucky? What game were you watching? It was only a matter of time when City scored, 3 times they cut us apart on their right wings. City have basically just sat back ever since they scored.
