Wow, this has been a bad, bad day. That defeat at Norwich looks the killer blow at the minute, they are ****ing awful and we allowed them to look like Brazil 70. Might I add, Palace, for me, don't deserve to go down, even in games they lose they put in a real shift and fight, it's looking like us or WBA and they have a striker who's hit 4 in 3. I'm finding it impossible to see a bright side to this afternoon, that Palace result, well, that's the epitome of the word disaster. Fail to win Monday now and it's curtains, no dressing it up.
I'd have given a lot to be in this position when Poyet came in ........... a win on Monday and everything will look different I have to feel sorry for the Mags who travelled all that way to get battered ........... but not the ****ers who spend their life on here.
Let's be honest though mate, love Poyet as I do, we were only 7 games in when he arrived, and now it's 29. Has the cup run masked the fact that bar a 6 game run we have still been appalingly bad, tactically suspect, and absolutely one of the 3 worst in the division? Time for cold, hard looks, you know, I'm not blaming Gus, the players we have at the club are a disgrace, only 5 or 6 are worthy of a Premier League shirt, none capable of playing regularly at a top 10 club, Gus got them playing, then they lost it again, they are ****ing cowardly bastards, and I'd list the entire squad bar Mannone seasons end, I'm deadly ****ing serious man. Admittedly, the Palace result has an impact on the current mood...
Mixing up my teams mate disregard that bit, was referring to Odemwingie, who of course plays for Stoke now! My bad.
Proven goalscorer mate, without question he'd have a couple in the bag now. Nowt we can do about the atrocious decisions that have been made now, we just have to pray that something falls for us.
I agree with you that they deserve it in terms of their commitment and effort, but Pulis's football is bloody horrible to watch. Their fans are class though, watched their game on a stream today and the noise levels were phenomenal. I fully believe if we could match that level of support at our home games we'd be higher up the table. It's frustrating because our away support is up there with the best in the country.
Couldn't agree more mate. On the subject of Pulis football though, I'd take winning ugly and staying up all day long.
I'm looking at cold hard facts mesel tbh ......... the players we have are the only one's who'll get us out of this. Poyet managed to get a performance out of them at Liverpool and I'm hoping for similar on Monday. Whatever the case I'm not going to throw the towel in when we're a few points from safety and the likes of Cardiff to play. West Brom are away to Norwich next week then play Spurs & Man City ........ they won't be looking forward to their trip to Sunderland. Things will change every week until the last few minutes of the last day.
A Cardiff win could be very good. Another good thing is that we have 3 of the last 4 at home including Cardiff.
