Is it right that Deeney's goals today make him the first Watford player since Cliff Holton to score 20 in consecutive seasons?

 

The BBC stats had us as having 39% possession - are they serious? I wonder when the last time 3 away sides in the second tier of English football scored 4 on the same day was.

 

Luther must have come close but we've not had many come close since I guess.

Certainly proved his worth with the club backing him.

 

Great win at the Shay today for Halifax too!

 

Just checked his stats and, amazingly, Luther never scored 20 two seasons running. I'm pleased for Deeney and voted him my player of the season. As well as his goals he's also proved a fair number of doubters wrong (again) this season.
