Pards simply must haul him off at half time and save him from himself. Haidara getting toasted too.

Just got in, had a look at BBC to see 12 shots at goal for Southampton to our 0.

Came on here to see if we had turned up and judging by the comments already made, no we haven't.

Benni doing his usual "lose it in dangerous position" routine. All I can say is thank **** for Elliot, Colo, Willo and Tiote. We should be 3 or 4 down.

Well that was inevitable really. Game over.

This game highlights just how poor we are and how desperate we are for new signings. Our form since we sold Cabaye would easily have got us relegated if sustained over the course of a whole season.

Rodriguez was offside. No question about it.

    I was thinking this
when the ball was passed he was ahead of the player that passed it

Unfortunately Mbiwa was very slow to react and he played him onside. WE are just not pressing them quickly enough and letting them stroll thru. Gouffran looks not bothered.
Have to agree that Mbiwa is NOT a RB. Before we shatter his confidence play him where he shone early on at CB.

Hadn't someone graciously spank passed the ball to him when he already had 3 Southampton players close to him? More the fault of the player who made the pass. I think there is truth in the rest of the squad not being too fond of him though as he's been ignored when in decent positions as a passing option a number of times this game. And the last game.

You have to feel for those poor buggers who paid good money to get up at 3am and make the 650+ mile round trip to watch this shower of shoite. On days like these, the players (who earn ££thousands a week) should pay for fans' travel and tickets after such shockingingly pathetic performances.

Don't mistake Mbiwa not passing to him as dislike, he is actually trying to <laugh> Don't blame HBA today, not getting in good areas because we don't care enough to put pressure on the ball to enable us to get out. He did have out balls when received that pass but chose to try and beat all three men. You can't do it in there.

No offside with their goal,he was behind the player as it was passed.Just thankful it's only one.
Regardless of position played neither fullback is fit for purpose today.
If a boxing contest it would have been stopped by now to save any further punishment.

Seeing as Pardew is sat just behind Ashley I hope he is keeping up a loud running commentary on where we need to strengthen to improve on these deplorably bad performances.

Not a single effort, either on or off target is shameful.
We do not win games when we go behind, so l guess it's just damage limitation for the next 45 minutes.
God, l hate it when we play like this, you would think that Southampton had actually scored the four or five chances they created, but it was nil-nil until just before half time. So why oh why is our team playing like a whipped dog, when the game was still very much on.
Hate a lack of effort, getting beaten happens, but put up some resistance FFs!
