You will probably lose, just pray you don't receive yet another humiliating scoreline against you.

Sounds like Koscielny might be out for at least a month

The funny thing is .. Everyone is expecting us to loose tomorrow. Pressure is off so we will probably win.

I'd have a faint sense of confidence playing that city team with our first team available. But without Ramsey, Walcott, ozil and wilshere I just can't see how we can take advantage of the lack of pace through the centre of there back line. And with the size of that team we'd be lucky to manage anything from set pieces.

Im gonna expand on that a little and see where it goes.

So , everyone is expecting us to win against Wigan and therefore pressure is ON , and therefore we will probably.............

Lose half the team to a freak bus crash on the way to the game resulting in bendtner leading us to semi final runners up... ;)

    Wouldn't take Wigan too lightly
They played really well against us,pressed us all over the pitch and made it really difficult to play

Our injured line up is looking better than our fit line up. Kos, Monreal, Diaby, Ramsey, Wilshere, Walcott and Ozil all out.

If you where to include players who have missed large chunks of the season through injury you could add in vermaelen at cb and podolski up top and only be missing a gk for a strong line up :p

It's 5 players who are pretty much guaranteed to be on the pitch if they are fit plus Montreal who has rotated as first choice or backup throughout the season and made a huge difference earlier in the season as an option to close out games. If diary was fit he generally plays as well...

    Injured midfield 5:

    ---diaby---Ramsey---
    Walcott--ozil---wilshere

    Current midfield 5:

    ---Arteta---flamini---
    Oxocube---cazorla--rosicky

We need to start fighting the top teams in midfield instead of trying to dance around them. If we don't Toure will cut right through us like a hot knife through butter.

To be honest, the more pressure will be on Man City than us, so the onus is on them to get a result. If Man City play well enough then they should beat us, if the pressure gets to them then we can get a result. Man City are rightfully favourites as our current form is toilet at the moment.

I could quite conceivably see another spanking, possibly even double figures unless we improve massively.

I can't see how we can change things up much given our injury list and we are missing our most dangerous players plus koscielny to keep things solid at the back. We just have to hope the players put in a good shift.

An interesting stat going into this game: since the loss to villa on the opening day of the season we haven't lost a single game at home all season.
