    Why can't they just design tyres that cope with the maximum possible water depth on the track, which surely can't be that much higher than the present tread depth.

    Have a look at the line all the cars were taking into that corner in the wet. Kvyat is the anomaly

    Did you see all those cars take the wide line. The rookie preferred going over white lines in the wet .
