The media really getting the knives out now. Ofcourse he's just a vehicle for the ABU's in the press to have a pop at United and a dig at Fergie. If you actually read what Moyes has said, you realise how far-fetched that headline is.

We need Mike Phelan for the cameras, much better than Fergie in my opinion and honest with it.

 

Moyes even in his Everton days was uncomfortable in front of the cameras at interviews, he defo needs someone to coach him in the do's and dont's and to consider what he's gonna say before saying it.

 

Fergie says his squad was great and could win 3 in a row while moyes thinks its naff and couldnt win a fixed coin toss.

 

I can sort of see what he's getting at. Last season Ferguson did incredibly well to squeeze the last drop out of the older players and benefitted from the other contenders being considerably weaker than they are now.

Would Ferguson be getting more out of Ferdinand, Vidic, Carrick, Valencia etc.? Of course, but probably nothing like what he was getting out of them last season.
