Purely an opinion from a lower league supporter, if this banner display goes a head it will do nothing but discredit your team and your fans in my eyes, it will just highlight even further that the Pampers League is nothing more than a TV game in my opinion. I believe Moyes was given a seven year contract, if you get rid of Moyes at this early stage, it will go to prove your contracts are worth nothing more than a piece of bog paper. I know things are not good but jeez guys don't discredit yourself even more than the results in front of the eyes of the world. If you was my team i would vocally denounce these muppets that are organising this fly past. Trying to think of history, didn't Fergie start off in a similar light badly?

The banner is childish, pathetic and pointless. SAF took 4 years to get it right, and be VERY careful what you wish for. So who would replace him? Egomaniac Mourhinio? do we really want a manager who thinks he is bigger than the club? I would imagine that the so called "fans" behind this protest cant remember the endless list of managers and trophyless years after Sir Matt, and with the exception of the odd FA cup win, we achieved nothing. One bad year out of 25 isnt a disaster, but getting rid of Moyes could put us in the poisoned chalice brigade, and going from one failure to another. Stop griping, get behind the team AND the manager, and have faith. I certainly dont want to go back to the bad old days, and sacking Moyes is not the solution.

Well said Bonnet, the trouble is we have been successful for TOO long. Many of our more vocal supporters today were not out of nappies the last time we had to watch our team and HOPE we would win rather than expect us to.

Is Scudamore piloting the other plane? He must be hating the prospect of what lies ahead under Sir Davids 6 year contract and will no doubt be looking to help torpedo him asap.....soon to be known as Richard Scudamoyes <ok>

There was no plane banner against the Glazers when they first came in, which has been the root of all our problems since, so it seems daft to put a banner up for this. Fergie gave us 25 years of success, and asked us to support our new manager, yet some fans can't even last a season. It's easy to support the team when things are going well, but you find out who the true supporters are when things are going badly. If the board want to sack Moyes then that is up to them, but we owe it to Fergie, to atleast support the man he chose

just an idea, maybe all the supporters should raise the roof in support of Moyes when the plane flies past...you might find that will give your club more credit in the eyes of the world. Give the SKY TV cameras something else to focus on rather than a out banner.

Nothing worse than people who compare Fergie with Moyes.

Why would any United fan do that?

Supporting Moyes now isnt just embarrassing its downright stupid.

Theres only one way under Moyes and nothing he has done suggests anything but failure.

How come United fans wanting a manager out is so bad when every club in the land has forced a manager out before. Were they wrong ( chelsea fans aside )?

fans support the club, before and after any managers, players, owners.

Think you got it spot on there.
I am amazed how quickly it has all turned tbh
Whilst there was obvious banter going on - generally you guys seemed to be behind Moyes.
From outside looking in, i think the media are the ones whipping your younger fans into a frenzy.
Really hope you dont fly the plane tbh.

    Utter nonsense KS.

Fergie said last season during the trophy award that we have a great squad that is capable of winning 3 in a row and troubling europes big guns. He suggested Moyes keep the back room staff as to make the transition easier for all and he put his faith in a man who has done nothing but chuck it back in his face...

Yet many fans are ok with slagging off the team ( the same team fergie rates very highly ) while supporting moyes because fergie said so.....

    contrafuckingdiction <ok>

Moyes has no support. Just because the crowd dont boo him. they dont cheer for him either any more and outside of old trafford, most wont hide their feelings.

What manager did Chelsea fans force out?
AVB and Scolari are the only sackings made by Roman I have agreed with since JM's first spell in charge.

Hiddink and Rafa left by mutual consent after short term contracts.
RDM, Ancelotti and Avram Grant were sacked by Roman (nothing to do with fans.

    AVB and Scolari were shocking.
AVB is f ucking clown, which he showed at Spurs and Scolari's results were shocking.

Did he? Can't say I recall him saying either of those things to be perfectly honest. It was all about the crowd supporting the new man.

As for there never having been a protest against the Glazers Shergar.

Green and Gold. It went on for a good while.

Are you saying with a straight face the crowd had absolutely nothing to do with Rafa not getting a sniff of the full time job|?
