So in september when mourinho gave an interview saying 'in england, i'm a blue. A london blue', december when he was house hunting in london. Why was he doing that?

It does, imagine Mourinho saying '' i always wanted to manage Manchester United.'' you lot would be going mad.

 

The question wasn't 'do you want to go back to chelsea', it was 'do you want to manage in england, again.' If he wanted united, he wouldn't of said all that stuff now, would he?

 

Why would he care if he's not/not going to be our manager?

End of the day, Jose has a lot of respect for both Fergie and United as a club - that's been clear since he managed Porto ffs. But face it, he's not somebody who would take charge of United straight after Fergie did and stand directly in his shadow.

Jose may have been interested in managing United at one point, but neither side is going to find compelling evidence in either argument.
United, if they did offer it to Jose, wont want to look like they only picked Moyes because Jose turned them down
and likewise Jose will not want to broadcast that his preferred destination was United and settled for Chelsea.
