It might be a good idea if we had a temporary sticky, that explains exactly how we go about making a vote on the name change ballot. Two people have questioned me on this today, and i'm worried there might be a lot more that don't quite get it. Both of these lads, were looking to vote NO, but didn't know how they'd go about it. Of course there is a thread on here, but it's up to 17 pages or something, sometimes it's not quite apathy, but more indolence that causes inaction. EDIT(PLT) This answer seems to address the issues best:
Good idea , been trying to work out how to do it today Basically Adobe Reader which many people use for PDF files does not let you save text into the PDF , you need to use something else
Stickied as requested but I'm not sure of the full details of what people need to do. If someone wants to post it I'll edit it into the OP.
I filled in the form. Then I used a prog called CutePdf. Itâs free to download. Then you save it using that prog. On mine, I go to print pdf, and it gives the option of saving it as a cutepdf file. Seems like a decent piece of software. http://www.cutepdf.com/ Then I attached this to the email, copied in another email address as a form of proof of emailing and email edthe said email (can't recall exact address) to the prescribed address with that ghastly name.
Just bring up the ballot paper. Type in the required information (season ticket number, address) click in the box you want to vote (it will bring up a tick) think people will get caught out with these and fill them in by hand, which the club could treat as a spoilt ballot. Once details are complete, print copies if you want one for your records and simply e mail your filled in form back to the address on the ballot.
Just in addition to this, you could use your own e-mail address if you don't have second one to send it to and it'll work exactly the same. You still receive it in your inbox as if it was from someone else.
Hi, just to clarify. Do they have to be electronically filled in??? I printed mine, scanned and sent back. Surely they cannot count this as a spoil???
You can collect a form or print a blank one, hand write it and post it at the club, so a scan should be fine.
Might be a really daft question, but where can the ballot form be downloaded from? I can't seem to find on the club site anywhere!!
It was on the OWS, but the link no longer works. You can get a copy here - http://www.sendspace.com/file/w8q2lp
Season Card holders have until midnight tomorrow night to return their ballot forms to the club. Season Card holders can fill in their PDF ballot form and email it back to us at [email protected] or alternatively you can: - Print the form at home, fill it in by hand, scan it and email it back to us at [email protected] - Print the form, fill it in by hand and post it to Ballot, Hull City Tigers, KC Stadium, Hull, HU3 6HU - You can also place your form in one of our ballot boxes in the East and West receptions at the KC Stadium. Since opening the ballot last Friday, we have received several calls from Season Card holders concerned that their form may have been returned blank due to an issue with saving their entry. Any forms which have come back to the club blank will be collated by the appointed independent adjudicator and contact will be made on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week to allow the individual to re-submit their vote. http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...lot-update-2-1449613.aspx#I1Ajv7xBUfm4iZT2.99
Season ticket holder for donkeys years and no-one from the club has emailed me. Despite a promise that they would.
Which is the season card number? Seat number or the serial number above the Newcastle United tribute picture?
Ditto. I rang them up as well, but still no call back. I downloaded it off the site, saved it and filled it in & e-mailed it back. That should be ok, right?
