And about time. For a comparison as to how far we have or haven't progressed recently, let's see what the performance is like against Rotherham who are in great form
I never thought I would say this, but it's going to be a tough game at Rotherham and don't really expect anything from it.
It would be good to get something at Rotherham- We still need some points to be safe, but our next 3 games are probably our hardest-I don't want to be in a position still needing 6 points from 4 games which are all then against teams who are and could still be involved in the fight to stay up. Hopefully, this good form against Rotherham and Preston can continue and give a good yardstick of where we are at present.
League positions of Rotherham and City indicate that it should be a home win tomorrow. However if Rotherham have an "Achilles Heel" it is their home form which has kept them out of the chase for automatic promotion. W8 D8 L3, which means they have failed to win 57% of their home games. Thus, we are in with a good shout for at least a draw. Should this not happen and we do lose, I will be looking at the performance as closely as I can from radio commentary, video highlights and match reports from those at the game. If we lose but perform then I will accept that. Lose like we did at Sheff U and it will prove we still have a mountain to climb.
