Hi from a Saints fan. We were by far the largest site on league 1 and have just noticed that you're massive in the Championship. Is this your main site or are you all just chatty?
Nah there's alot of popular Hull City sites- CI, Citymad, Amber Nectar amongst others. Alot of people just came to this one when it started up. So i',m guessing we're all chatty. If you like the banter stick around.
I like it here myself, there's only one nuisance poster, a lot of other football sites its like anything goes and cant be bothered with that. Also there are are good boards for other sports here too.
I used to use footymad, but dont get alot of football talked on there these days, seems to be dying off, and the nuisance poster was outed as a leeds fan on a wind up on footymad apparntly, not saying its true
Always good to discuss things and have friendly banter with rival fans, providing they don't come on here with the sole purpose of acting the clown and winding everyone up.
Generally we're a good lot. Don't have an axe to grind with Hull until we are battling for the title at the end of the season Having said that, the People's website says we're both trying to sign Neil Danns. What do you think?
A mixture of both I reckon. Most of the old 606 lot migrated here around January and the likes of OLM post several times on most threads.
Most on here so far from what I have seen seem like normal people. Banter has to be good if it is done in the right way. Like when we tell you how we will stuff you or you say the same to us. But it can only go so far before becoming boring. I prefer to discuss the game as it is played or about to be played. I remember watching you play at Chelsea in the sixties in the FA Cup and getting a good draw. I was a squadie then and had a free ticket before you ask.
I get the impression we've given up on Danns, he's looking for big money and Rangers are also in for him and he fancies the idea of Champions League football, according to his agent.
I suspect it will depend on the deal offered and where he wants to live. A few Champions League matches are a poor price for playing in scottish football, though I suspect Rangers can offer better wages than Hull or Saints. But still, scottish football.
Even if he does only get two Champions' league games, that's probably a better shop window than 46 in the Championship.
I've said it before and I'll say it again....The SPL is the graveyard of English players....They go there, perform like world beaters, come back to England and they're rubbish. Why ? Its simple....The SPL is about as good as the Blue Square Conference North....If Danns wants to perform to a good level stay in England..The Championship is one of the best leagues in the world. far better than that Jock stuff. His agent should be telling him this, but I dare say he's looking at the £££. Thereagain I thought GR were skint..
Rangers foray in the Champions League is likely to be short lived, but players still like to have a few Champions League games on their CV. They can also offer football in front of 40-45,000 every other week, even if it is followed up with 5-15,000 in some ****-hole in-between.
I'm not sure. I would have thought a possible return to the premier league would be worth far more with a potential move to a bigger club assuming he performs well?
