Hoping we hold on to him. He has been the player of the season for me by far.

Selling Davies would certainly be beneficial to the shareholders (As Ehab said this week) but not for the progression of the club.

Although are the two not intrinsically linked ?

Beneficial for them in the short term, but fairly pointless if we then go straight down as they would lose a lot more money

I honestly don't see us selling him for anything short of crazy money. His value to the team is far greater than his market value.

In a way, I hope he goes to Spurs and gets called up just to witness this board (you in particular) go into complete meltdown.

    But not really.

But why, because it'd vindicate us..? Surely you'd rather he go there and still not get called up because that'd wind us up more?

Weren't you - or one of your lot - telling us early season that he did precisely the same with you guys and start off like a house on fire and you'd look forward to coming back here at Christmas as we all realised how ****e he was?

    Cash plus Livermore.
I'm afraid I could see it happening.

Curtis has been outstanding all season and is absolutely nailed on for player of the year! It would have to be one hell of an offer for Brucey to consider selling, but when all said and done he's a London lad and the fact we want Livermore might make this a distinct possibility. That said he seems settled here, enjoys being part of our squad and should we be in Europe next year i'm sure Huddlestone will be whispering in his ear why he shouldn't go to Spurs all day, every day!

what would be a realistic fee that would suit both parties - £12-15m perhaps? Any less and we're being robbed, any more and they are.

I bet it would be approx 5m + Livermore if there was any truth in it. Personally I think he is worth much, much more, when you consider how much a similar replacement would cost.

If they can get Caulker back from Cardiff post their imminent relegation for c£8-9m then that could be job done for Sherwood I reckon
