    Funny stuff eh guys.

Thing is, if Moyes was in charge of any other club, having a season as bad ( relative to the club ) he would have been sacked an hounded out. This would have happened before Christmas at every single club in the country.

So the fact its taken until March for the fans to start really pushing after the season we have had...... well thats something you dont often see.

I am also confused as to what benefit supporting someone who clearly isnt capable has for anyone? Doesnt make you a better fan and if anything shows you dont really care.

Anyone comparing Moyes with Fergie is also an idiot. Sorry but its true. They are in no way alike and the situations couldnt be any more different.

It crossed my mind that Fergie recommended Moyes as he knew he would not do as good a job as Fergie, as he didn't want to be eclipsed as the best manager Man U had ever had.

    Maybe....

However I dont see any manager getting close to him ever. Not in England anyway. One of the weaker leagues might have someone get close but in England. No chance at all.

    So maybe not...

Strikes me as a very painful readjustment of expectations for Man Utd at the moment.

Stuff like this plane is never going to come across well to fans other clubs.

'Manchester United: Entitled to Success' could be the next one.

He was hardly going to be eclipsed by Moyes, was he? Nobody in football will have so much sustained success at one club, as Fergie.

Sir Alex got out at the right time. The club needed an overhaul with so many of their best players finishing their careers or leaving for pastures new. Going out on top is better than going out after finishing mid table.

This was inevitable, especially with the dross Moyes brought in.

Who would you go for if you do sack Moyes?

    Klopp
    Van Gaal
    Simeone

Saints manager ( as something different )

Mourinho as hes a massive United fan and the only manager to beg for the job but as hes at Chelsea its unlikely.

I posted this on here about 4 months back. Fergie is such an egomaniac he wanted the next manager to do well, but not as well as him. His biggest fear would've been Jose or someone else winning the UCL 3 times.

Utd, under Ferguson, have a terrible European Cup / UCL record. They shouldve done far better with the amount of leagues they have won. So someone couldve definitely done better.

"one of the weaker leagues". What you mean like in Spain or Germany perhaps? ****ing typical attitude....

Fans don't like something at a club.

Fans complain and mount a campaign to change things.

    Seems fair enough to me.

Moyes was never ever going to emulate Fergie. No one will ever. Man U and its fans need a reality adjustment and Moyes was selected to give them that. I said at the time Man U should have taken a punt on Martinez, a much much better manager.

Moyes is, and always will be at best an upper mid table manager, just like he was with Everton, and just like he is doing with Man U. Notice how Everton and Man have pretty much swapped places? That's not a coincidence.

The hard core of Man U fans will have been there for ever, and will continue to be there, but this lack of success and the taste of mediocrity will cost them dearly in merchandising, and that will cause them the most harm in the long term.

Mourinho usually moves on after a successful period, like at Porto, at Chelsea originally, at Inter. Whether his lack of success in Madrid has changed that, we'll see.

Your club's board is controlled by Americans so I don't see how it's got Buddhist powers of patience or is in any way the special board you obviously think it is. The board that held off sacking Ferguson was very different and if it had listened to you fans he'd have been gone before he won a trophy. :D

Welcome to our world mate. We have won f**k all in our history.

Ferguson started off s***e at Utd and should have been sacked IMO.

What is it with these big teams and their belief that they have an automatic right to win things.

What part of that is funny? How many leagues won vs how many European Cups and UCL titles? Actually I'll help you out - 13 and 2. Havent your close friends down the East Lancs road won fewer leagues and more European Cups / UCL titles?

Why is Moyes to be shamed on Saturday when he should be ashamed of whats happened since the start of the season. I don't think the appointment of the new CEO at the same time didn't help him transfer wise last Summer, but he's been awful!

Far be it from me to praise Utd but considering how pisspoor Moyes has been he's had incredibly good support from the Utd fans.
I was sat amongst the home fans on Tuesday and while they were clearly irritated to be outclassed by City they never got on Moyes back but just continued to support the team, although the media choose to highlight the odd tosser having a go
If that was arsenal the boos would have rung around London

That "chosen one" banner, is that an Allam type daft club idea or is it just something some fans bring along?

Exactly my point, if they brought in the special one, chances are he would have done better than Fergie, so why Fergie recommend Moyes.
