So? We beat City, Chelsea, Liverpool last season and only finished 13th or 14th. Beating the big sides gives you no divine right to be in the top half.
You OK with my alterations..? That Officials table was a real bugger to sort out. I had to ditch it. Sorry, Lamb.
To be fair Tom, they deserve to be where they are because....well......they are where they are. We don't deserve to be higher, so we're not.
Yay got my tickets! Taking my gf's son, only seats left in northam right next to Newcastle fans. Hope its not too rowdy.
This will be the great battle for eighth!!!!! The match of the day pundits will be all over this game>
Could be a really exciting match up.... or a drek fest! Boruc Clyne----fonte-----lovren---Shaw ------Schneider---cork---------------- Davis------lallana-------gallagher -------------j-rod--------------------------- Bench: gazza, chambers, Maya, jwp, reed, Gaston, Lambert. Wouldn't drop any of the defence, would give Gallagher a go maybe half a match needs to be given a chance.
Well if our striker hadn't butted our CB in training and stayed to score thirty goals, my Aunt might be my Uncle. We are both where we are. End of. Every club in the league has a "if we ..." story. We'll both 'deserve' to finish where we finish.
Luck allegedly evens itself out over a seasonbut we've definitely had some dubious decisions and injuries at crucila times in matches.
Newcastle United on Twitter: Goalkeeper Tim Krul is out of Saturday's trip to Southampton with a knee injury.
I agree, you can't fault Newcastle's scouting/ recruitment over the last few years. They consistently play well, and they seem to be a team with a resilience about them and who fear nobody. Plus, the way they've come up from down in the depths and established themselves as a quality top-half team is certainly something to emulate ;-) However, I think we are well on the way to doing that ourselves. In fact I believe we can realistically hope to surpass Newcastle - if not this year then next - and what's more, with English players
I agree. Which is why I was responding to a few of your guys "we deserve to be above them" comments, because quite frankly you don't. Beat us on Saturday and you will deserve to be above us. Until then though for anyone to claim that you "deserve to be above Newcastle" is quite frankly ridiculous
I'm calm fella What's the weather like up your way anyway? Looking forward to visiting your ground on Saturday, just hoping it'll be decent weather because spending the weekend there too. Also can anyone confirm if the ground is far from the central train station? As my hotel isn't too far from their but not too sure if the ground will be within walking distance.
