Radio Newcastles best

Nick Barnes and Gary Bennett. These two must be the worst commentators in the media. Barns go more than 30 second without going into a coughing fit and all Bennett does is moan and groan before he make a comment which is nearly always Sunderland defence must concentrate just before the opposition scores. What a pair of dicks

 

Aye...Benno always comes out with, "Oh"...and "Urgh"...and "Ahh"....instead of describing his reactions.

I Would never even contemplate listening to this station until it bears a name that is representative of the region it is supposed to represent..

 

I wonder where Gatesy is now, I'd love the bloke back. He had so much passion and honesty about his opinions.

 

Benno is a terrible co-commentatror/pundit. But in person he is absolutely class. Very funny bloke and lovely lad as well. I just don't think he is very good on the radio

 

People should never forget this gem.

I've just watched it and I stand corrected.

Speedies red was harsh but **** him, one of the players I despised, like Dennis Wise, hated that prick too.

 

I watched it from the Roker End next to the away fans! Funny as **** watching the lads in the paddock give the little ****er a dig whenm benno threw him in!! Speedie deserved a red as he targetted Benno's knee which from he had just recovered from a big operation iirc

 

I'd bet he's in a bookies in Barnard Castle.
