To be fair, Scotland would struggle to beat Djibouti at this present time. What a great thread, eh? And now we can debate who the greatest team of all time is. For teamwork and desire, I would plump for the Denmark side of 1992. For technique, I'd choose the 1986 Belgian team. For the ability to win a World Cup with just one true superstar, it must be Argentina of 1986.
And for living on one world cup victory for the rest of eternity and pissing off Scotland forever, England. <SpiritOf`66>
Have you read his autobiography, Mick? It's a cracking read. The best football-related book I've read is about a guy who follows the Liechtenstein national team during one of their World Cup qualifying campaigns. Another team Scotland would struggle to beat: Liechtenstein.
I have, hairs on back of neck and would never have thought it but Graham Taylor rose in my estimation,I really like that man with the time he gave McGrath. The red tops gave him a terrible time and I must confess I enjoyed it at the time but have got more mature and the way he helped McGrath can't fault him, pity your public don't judge him that way. ps. Paul still struggling with his demons but a lot of people there for him.
