    I don't think that's strictly true.

You can go in and pick a price band but I doubt you can actually pick the seat/block. They said they would put some tickets from each price band to one side for each stand at the KC but you won't be able to pick your choice of seat (especially as that seat may be in the "form group" as opposed to the "in person group" of tickets).

Something I was wondering is, if you sent your form off for tickets, and then went in to buy tickets too, would they know?

Let's be honest, the ticket system we have in place isn't proving to be the best and will that flag up on their system as us already reserving tickets via the form when trying to buy more in person. Especially with the amount of forms they may have had to go through making it pretty hard to administer I guess.

    Any thoughts?

I think you would get away with it Cortez and if anyone wanted extra tickets i would certainly try because to me they will want to get rid of as many as possible and as quickly as they can. The only thing against it is if you have to produce your pass which i would imagine you do then you would have thought when they brought it up on computer there would be a note saying already applied. Sometimes i think its who you get some couldn't care less others are a bit keener. I don't know but as i said earlier it certainly worth a try

I'm not trying it myself, I've got my two tickets applied for. It's just something that was brought up in a conversation at work recently.

No it wouldn't work. The system may be Stone Age but they won't let people slip by with two applications, I suspect the very reason they've done it this way rather than online is because online there's no way for it to recognise which season tickets are eligible to buy two seats, so people can't get more than their entitlement.

I also think the order in which forms were returned will bare no relevance in the order we get seated. They'll do it in a way to make sure all groups can be seated together. There will be some large groups which have applied together, Mr. Blampey said there was a group of 160, I'm not sure about that but there will be several groups of 10-20+. It would also be downright unfair on those without the means to fill out and return their form at 5pm the Saturday it was released.

Then there will be which way you vote on the poll to take into account, be under no illusions that those voting in favour of Hull Tigers will get preferential treatment and allocated seats in their favoured price band first.

    I had this feeling too.

I'd like to think it's not true, but knowing how things work, it likely will be.

I'm not so sure on this. Surely they can't give preference to those in bigger groups? I applied for two tickets. I'd hate to think I'm end of the line for that exact reason.

That's not what I meant, I meant they will build a plan to ensure all groups are together, if they just seat everyone in order of when their application was recieved they will end up with dozens of single seats at the ends of rows which probably would remain empty until general sale. They'll utilise the space in the £50 seats especially to make sure they get as many passholders in there as possible sat in the groups they're applied for, if you know what I mean.

I'd suggest smaller groups probably have a higher chance at getting their priority area, say if you have two tickes together, there will be more blocks of two available than say blocks of eight.

Hull City fan Dave Rugg was first to get his hands on Wembley tickets when they went on sale at the KC Stadium this morning.

Dave, 52, from Driffield, arrived at 6.30am and was surprised to find no queue at the stadium, where a phased sale of tickets for the FA Cup semi-final against Sheffield United got under way today.

"It's great to have them in my hands," said Dave, who was collecting four £50 tickets.

The club has been allocated more than 32,000 tickets for the match on Sunday, April 13. Season pass holders are expected to snap up most of the tickets, with the remainder going on general sale on April 3. For full details of who can purchase which tickets and when, visit Hull City's official website.

This morning has seen only a trickle of pass holders buying tickets in person after the vast majority opted to pre-book using the club's application forms.

The first tickets using the application form are available for collection tomorrow (subject to you receiving an email).

You just need to take the email (and probably your pass) to the office to pick up the tickets. Mine are to be picked up on Friday after receiving the email today.

I applied hours after you (12:15am) and got my email yesterday. I think I may have got the confirmation on Monday; they tried to take payment Monday but I'd put the wrong card on and I sorted it out Tuesday.

Just goes to show that there's no preferential treatment in order of when you sent the form off.

I could probably just go collect them tomorrow. They're just saying 48 hours to spread us all out.
