Well played lads, thought you'd grab a point at the end there maybe if you had Fletcher fit you would of nabbed something. Stifled us the whole game and made it difficult and probably deserved a point in the end. Hope your boys stay up, good luck for the rest of the season.

The Gerrard free kick undid us, he just arrowed it over little Bridcutt and probably used him as a front sight, what on earth was he doing in a wall?

At least the performance was a mile away from last game.

I've only seen once as well, so will gladly take it back if it's the case.

Think you all know I don't gun after individuals, just looked like a fizzed ball on the 6 yard line that should have been flung at.

Obviously i know how this will be received but I thought Altidore did well tonight. He had no chance with that free kick head on as he was already jumping to reach the initial free kick.

That is the system id go with for the away games now with Borini in for Wickham,.Ki in for Giaccherini and Alonso instead of Dossena.

Aye, fair, but should a striker be in a position to reach a ball on the 6 yard line, from an 87th minute free kick?

It's not just a Jozy dig, SOMEONE should have been in the line of that balls fire, AJ was only putting it in one area and they had a man on the front post.

    <ok> Cheers

and re: Fletcher, we wouldn't have put you under pressure if he was playing up front, but he may have managed to nick a goal.

Agreed mate, i would never question your integrity when it comes to things all SAFC. What i would say is that was a fine 2nd half performance and hopefully we can take that forward (how many times has that been said after a performance)

Agree mate but would have AJ in too. Having Ki further up (and actually trying) made a difference. AJ was excellent too

Ki looked hungry, dropping him might just have saved our arses.

He was key in us putting Liverpool under pressure. If he gets the ball to his feet he can hold it up.

I will say that I'm absolutely lifted for Monday by that second half.

Let's make some ****ing noise and get the win.

West Brom & Swansea have great chances to win, but Palace SHOULD lose to Chelsea, we can be out of there Monday.

Need to play with the same intensity and get right into their face.

Will be good to have Alonso in for Dossena

Aye Dossena isn't good, and Alonso gives us some shape.

We desperately need a CB in the summer, a decent one, no bargain hunting, but for Monday, I'd play ALL of the creative lads.

    Vito
    Bardo- JOS-Wes-Alonso
    Catts
    Borini-Ki-AJ
    Giacc
    Whickham

**** it go for it, try and win the bastard.

We need so many positions sorted out in the summer. ES needs to dig deep

    I'd play

    Mannone
    Bardo-JOS-Brown-Alonso
    Catts
    Johnson-Ki-Giacc
    Borini-Altidore

Jozy had three defenders slap bang in front of him, If Connor simply passed the ball ten yards across the floor to Giacc it was one on one. I know which I think is the better opportunity fluffed.
