Oh well. I thought City played really, really well tonight - best performance in quite a while. Just a shame about that early ref's decision and Chezzy's slice - everything else was positive, and our 10 men made West Ham look very poor indeed.
balls to the result, just outplayed and outclassed a lucky west ham team for 70 mins with ten men, great performance tonight **** happens
Was a tough game with 11men so cant grumble..OG unlucky timing with their fans turning on their own team
Better team lost. Though when it's 10 men vs 12 men away from home it's unlikely that the result will go your way.
Great performance from the lads, full commitment for the whole game. Without piss poor officials and a lot of bad luck we could have easily beaten them, didn't look a good team at all.
it was Chesters OG they couldnt score from open play. I kinda thought the goalie got the benefit of the doubt in situations like that anyhow
Mike Dean you useless rat-faced untermensch. Spammers won despite themselves tonight, they showed **** all. Chezza's howler aside, a spirited team performance. Only thought we'd get a point out of this, so we move on. Before this match I said 4 points from WHU, Stoke and Swansea would be enough. We can still do that. But seriously, I hope that twat gets mauled by a pack of rabid Alsatians. Bastard.
Great performance lads. By far the best team lost thanks to one of the most inept and one sided refereeing performances by Mike Dean that I have ever seen. We had 60-40 possession advantage after we went down to 10 men. Dont think they had a shot on goal other than Chessies og in the second half. We played them off the park. Lucky lucky WetSpam.
sometimes going down to ten works as an advantage, because tbh, until the red west Ham had control, but, personally I couldn't give a ****. It's three points in the bag and I'm not a whippet, so I won't be getting kicked tonight.
Could be a bit of a pyrrhic victory there. Hopefully West Ham go on a bit of a slump til the end of the season and finish far from convincingly, I'm sure tonights 'performance' from them will be one of the biggest shells the fans target Allardyce's back with. I'd be embarrassed if I was a hammers fan after that. I'd also be embarrassed if I was a match official. Mike Dean will probably get given the City v Arsenal game at the weekend as a reward for his fine show tonight.
I guarantee, after you get regularly shafted by the refs next season, youâll be online â whimpering. Suppose you lower league types only see MOTD/Sky etc so your stance is understandable.
One thing I would say is that the Sunderland fans going on about how having 10 man is such a huge disadvantage should take a look at our performance tonight.
