A 2006 survey found that the Irish spend a higher proportion of their income on alcohol than anyone else in Europe. Amazing.
Ireland harboured 50,000 Jews during the war. Ireland exported 50,000 stews during the war. Ireland welcomed 50,000 Huns during the war. Which one is true?
Not true Dev,all my money is direct debit so I don't have any choice i.e gone before I have a chance to spend it.But having said that anyone living at home it's probably right.
I love that one,Dublin got bombed during the war, mistake by the Germans blown off course or so they say,fs thought it was Coventry haha. The truth of it was Dublin exporting food to Belfast i.e British troops/war effort so plan was to cut off that supply allegedly!
The Olympic Stadium in Kiev has roughly 10,000 fewer seats than Croke Park, so that fact is clearly wrong. Unless the Irish have counted incorrectly...
Not bothered checking facts but Hill 16 is all standing(terrace) so 80,000 plus gets in on a big match.Ponders you like your experiences Hill 16 is a must, cops wont go near it when the Dubs play, beer,***s,joints all on a summer's afternoon and a fantastic day out.
I've always thought that you would make a great Irishman, you were born in the wrong place. I bet you love the GAA.
I love all sports, and I especially love sporting venues. I always stay on until the crowds have left and then I soak up the haunting atmosphere of a place that was buzzing just a few moments earlier. And the sight of floodlights looming up from rows of terraced houses will always gladden my heart. There is art to be found in such urban vistas. So how do I go about getting onto Hill 16, Mick? Is it members only?
