The goalkeeper made no attempt to get the ball at all, it's how he hurt his back, he dived at Diame, yes it was hand-ball, but seriously, when you do something like that you're asking for it tbh, it was a professional foul, not clumsy or mis-timed. Though I always think a red card is unnecessary when a pen is given.
Yep, they're scrapping it in the summer apparently. I don't see how preventing a goalscoring opportunity equals a red when you get given a goalscoring opportunity 12 for, 11 against since they got promoted.
AKCJ Logic Noble - Good enough for an England callup Curtis Davies - Not good enough for England callup Sorry Andy, but it's true.
He was going for the ball but the handball changed its path so he tried to pull out but already had momentum so went into the man anyway
The worst part is that Figs cleared it off the line so how the **** could it be a red card? Not a clear scoring opportunity.
Hold your horses mate ffs I'm only asking why he hasn't been considered (Huddlestone and Davies have). I don't think he should be called up but in the kind of seasons where **** all happens for the national side (the kind of seasons when players like Ricky Lambert (when he won his first cap) got called up. I think that he, Huddlestone and Davies fall into the "test them out when there is nothing at stake" category, I wouldn't take them to the World Cup.
west ham fans don't have much patience with their own players do they ? I thought we were bad for that
Exactly the point I made earlier. The shot had also already been committed to before he was brought down. So as the hand-ball was missed the worst it should have been was a penalty only. No professional foul or red card.
Maybe, I just ****ing hate games like this one where you know you're going to lose to a **** decision before the game even starts, so I'm a bit pissed off. They're all **** The fact I know without thinking who West Ham's penalty taker is and that he's got a decent record, but couldn't tell you who ours is says quite a lot about the situation. Big Sam is one of those managers, same as Pulis (there's a theme here), who makes sure his team gets the decisions. When a decision goes against them everyone hears about it and they ensure that it's in the ref's mind for next time. If it's 12 pens in two years like AKCJ says then that's twice as many as us in that time.
